19 injured in road accident near Murree

19 people including women and Children got injured in a road accident near Tret (on the way to Murree) on Sunday. All the injured are shifted to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) for better treatment. PIMS administrator Dr. Altaf Hussain told the reporters that all the injured belong to Gujranwala . Treatment was provided to them and luckily none of them was in a very serious condition. 
It is important to mention that in summers a lot number of people go to Murree from Central Punjab on Weekends but the drivers don't know the route very well due to lack of experience and while coming back, they mostly end up with accidents.

Corporal punishment claims boy’s life in Nasirabad

Image by Google.com A student of Class-III on Friday lost his life reportedly because of corporal punishment by his teacher in  Dera Murad Jamali . Syed Nazar Shah, the teacher, was immediately taken into custody.  Ten-year-old Amanullah Solangi went to Government Primary School in Shah Baig village of Nasirabad district. According to sources, he was subjected to severe beating by Mr Shah over some mistake. The boy was taken to hospital where he died. The medics confirmed Solangi had serious wounds on his body.  Villagers placed the body on the main Quetta-Sukkur Highway and held a protest against the teacher. They raised slogans and demanded the teacher’s arrest. Traffic remained disrupted for quite some time.  The protest was called off after the local administration assured the grieving family that action would be taken against the teacher and school.
