Turkey's President wants Pakistan - India to solve the Kashmir issue
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan urges Pakistan-India to finally put the dispute on Kashmir issue to a halt. Erdogan statement comes as the president begins a two days visit to India. the president is expected to meet Indian prime minister Narendra Modi on Monday.
He urged both countries to settle the Kashmir issue through negotiation as both countries will be benefited by this compromise.
Pakistan-India are not on good terms lately as following the Uri attack in September 2016 , Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi stepped up a drive to isolate Pakistan diplomatically. In the days following the attack India claimed to conduct surgical strikes; a claim Pakistan strongly rejected. Ever since that both of these countries are not ready to compromise at all.
We have to wait and see whether Turkey' President Erdogan will be successful in his efforts or not.
