50 Afghan soldiers killed and 100 injured in retaliating cross border fires

"We are not happy over their losses since they are our Muslim brothers", says IG FC Balochistan

                                     

On Sunday while giving media briefing, Inspector general (G) Frontier Corps(FG) Nadeen Anjum claimed that while retaliating unprovoked cross border fires, 50 Afghan soldiers died and 100 went injured. Their losses are not soothing for our hearts as they are our Muslim brothers, says IG FC while briefing  media on a recent cross-border attack. The attack displaced residents of Killi Luqman, Killi Jahangir and Badshah Adda Kahol as security got high alert in Quetta and other parts of Balochistan. He claimed that Afghan forces were formerly informed of the census exercise going on in the area yet they attacked.
 
Moreover Commander Southern Command Lt. Gen. Amir Riaz called their act as "shameful" during a media briefing; "This was a shameful act to target civilians at the border villages of Pakistan."
